In the medieval land of Goredd, humans and dragons have been living peacefully together for forty years. There is no fighting or fire-breathing and the once-famous dragon-killing knights have been banished to the hills. But then a member of the royal family is murdered in a very dragon-like fashion and there are rumors of another assassination on the anniversary of the peace treaty. Seraphina Dombegh, the new assistant to the court composer, finds herself thrown into the middle of the investigations, sleuthing alongside Prince Lucian Kiggs and trying not to fall in love with him. She has some insights into the world of dragons and secrets that make her more valuable than anyone can imagine, but also put her in terrible danger. And if you fall in love with these characters (they are loveable!), don’t fret; the author is currently working on the sequel. Check our Catalog
