Many of the books on these lists can be checked out of the library in Quincy and many of them are also owned by other South Shore libraries in the Old Colony Library Network.  If the book you want is checked out, you can place a hold on it either at the library or online. Incoming 8th Grade Honors and AP students will also have an additional reading assignment and list of classics to choose from. Please ask at the desk for help finding these titles or check our catalog online

We will be putting aside as many copies of Hatchet and April Morning as we can at both the main library in Quincy Center as well as a few copies at each of the smaller branches. You can always place a hold through our catalog online and have the book you need transferred from another library if there are none on the shelf in Quincy.
