Sparse but beautiful, and her cover choices are inspired. The first notes from her dark version of True Colors sound Nirvana-esque, and her cover of Long Black Veil gives me goosebumps.

A really amazing album..I was impressed with the vocals & the enormous amount of talent & artistary shown on Kris’s CD..I will definetly follow his career..I expect ground breaking songs coming from that very talanted artist..

I bought his cd and I love all the music selection. Excellent lyrics, great melody ank Kris voice is do awesome. I’m tired of music from lady gaga, pink, beyoncr whose quality of music is disappearing. I believe Kris will be one of the classic singer that will here to stay like Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion who just sing their songs from their heart. I love you Kris.

Listen to this CD–it will make you feel happy! I’ve listened to it 3-4 times in a row in the car and, sadly, have to return it to the library now because it’s overdue. Have really enjoyed the varied rhythms, melodies and instrumentation (esp sax and bass work) and probably will have to purchase for my personal collection…
