QUINCY — Director Sara Slymon is pleased to share that the Thomas Crane Public Library will be hosting meditation expert Neeni Decha later this month.

Tuesday, Sept. 26 from 7-8 p.m.

Community Meeting Room, Main Library, 40 Washington St. 

WHAT:

On Tuesday, Sept. 26, the Thomas Crane Public Library will welcome meditation expert Neeni Decha to conduct a meditation class. During the class, Decha will teach the basics of Middle Way meditation and guide participants through a meditation session.

This event is free to attend and no registration is required. 

Decha began practicing meditation in Thailand more than 30 years ago. For the past 10 years, she has been conducting meditation classes throughout the greater Boston area and at the Dhammakaya Meditation Center in Quincy.

Meditation is the practice of training your mind to calm down and become peaceful. A peaceful mind can reduce stress and bring positivity to your daily interactions at home, in the workplace, or wherever you are. A consistent practice of meditation can improve your overall quality of life.
