QUINCY — The staff of the Thomas Crane Public Library is proud to host a painting class with Pop Up Art School in an advance celebration of Valentine’s Day. 

WHEN: 

Wednesday, Feb. 7 from 6:30-8 p.m. 

Registration for this event is required. Supplies will be provided.

Classroom, Main Library, 40 Washington St., Quincy 

WHAT: 

Join members of the Thomas Crane Public Library for a paint night with Pop Up Art School at the main library. Attendees will learn to paint an image of a steaming cup of coffee with a heart-shaped swirl of milk in the center.

Painters can create the cozy “I Love Coffee” scene with Pop Up Art School’s instructors in a relaxed and welcoming environment. 

Pop Up Art School aims to teach art programs by offering instruction both virtually and on-site at public libraries and after-school events. Instructors Janell Scannell and Lisa Walker both have extensive backgrounds in the arts and are certified art teachers for grades K to 8 in the state of Massachusetts.
