Orientation & Training
Orientation is a mandatory first step in the process of becoming a trained tutor. You must attend one orientation session before you register for a training.
Two six-week training sessions are offered each year. Trainings are generally held in the fall and in the spring.
If you are interested in becoming a tutor, please fill out the application form and send it in. Please call 617-376-1314 with any questions.
Spring 2013
Orientations
Dates: Wednesday, January 9 or 16, 2013
Place: Main Library community meeting room (ground floor)
Time: 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Training
Six Wednesday Sessions (6:00 to 9:00 pm)
January 23 & 30; February 6, 13, 20 & 27
Follow-up Meeting
Date: Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
