Make a Difference

LVM-Quincy has a number of supports in place to help make your tutoring experience rewarding and successful. If your training was a few years ago, you may want to take a refresher; you may attend a session of the tutor training workshop to reinforce concepts and techniques. SABES posts free trainings and workshops on its website. Pro Literacy America offers free on-line trainings through its ThinkFinity network.

If you would like more information on becoming an LVM-Quincy volunteer, find out how to Become a Volunteer.

Quote: I first decided I needed to learn how to read when my ex-wife was no longer there to read for me. I always thought I was too old to learn but the mail went unopened and the bills went unpaid. So then it became a matter of survival. R.S.
