INTERLIBRARY LENDING SERVICE
For Other Libraries
The
Thomas Crane Public Library lends material from its own collection to
other libraries in accordance with the TCPL
Interlibrary Loan Policy. We are also the interlibrary loan
agent for the Old Colony
Library Network and lend material from other OCLN library collections
in accordance with local interlibrary loan policies.

do supply: loans of books (new and old), audios (cassettes & CDs), VHS videos & DVDs, and
reference materials at our discretion; photocopies of journal/newspaper
articles and pages from genealogy/reference books.
We
do not supply: loans of microforms, entire issues of periodicals,
or genealogy, local history and special collection materials.

OCLN member library has its own local lending policy. However, the following
policies are true for most OCLN libraries:
OCLN libraries do supply: loans of books, audios (cassettes & CDs), VHS videos & DVDs.
OCLN
libraries may not supply: loans of new books and a/v materials,
especially new feature film videos and DVDs.
OCLN
libraries do not supply: loans of microforms, entire issues
of periodicals, or genealogy, local history, rental or special collection
materials.
