A to Z Reading Challenge
June 1st through August 30th
Pick up a challenge booklet at any Quincy library location
Have fun this summer and explore the whole library as you read (or listen) your way through the alphabet. Take a look here for more details and remember, this program is for the whole family. Board books and stories read to children count!
Mother Goose and Little Bo Peep
Tuesday, July 2nd at 10:00 a.m. and

Main Library Front Lawn (Main Library Large Meeting room in case of rain)
Ages 0-3 years with an adult
Join children's librarians Jane Miller and Gail Columbare on the library lawn as they present Mother Goose and Little Bo-Peep: a Nursery Rhyme and Song Extravaganza. This is a fun-filled program of stories and songs for children ages 4 months to 3 years old accompanied by an adult. This program is especially geared toward very young children. The show will go on come rain or shine; in case of rain we will move into the large meeting room. Meeting room space is limited to the first 125 people; when we reach capacity we will close the doors. Sponsored by the Friends of the Thomas Crane Public Library.
"Let's Play Together" Pajama Storytime
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
July: 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st
August: 7th and 14th
Ages 2-5 with an adult
Storyteller Cheryl Dunford presents "Let's Play Together," pajama storytimes designed especially for children ages 2-5 and their parents. Every Wednesday evening will be filled with activities for children and adults to do together. Come see Ms. Cheryl for an hour of interactive stories, partner dances, playing in a band and singing together. This six week program is designed for adults and children to enjoy stories and songs as a family. This is a great time for you and your children to sing, dance, listen and talk with each other. This program is sponsored by the Quincy Arts Council.
