Storytime

  • Weekday storytimes run throughout the school year. Please check below for ages, times and locations.
  • Due to overcrowding REGISTRATION is required for some programs.
    • Registration for Spring programs will begin on Tuesday, March 15th at 9:00 a.m.
  • Storytimes are offered on weekdays from October to May for children ages 4 months to 8 years. The goal of all storytimes is to inspire a love of books and reading in participants of all ages.
  • Many weekday morning storytimes are drop-in programs with no registration required. However, some of the most popular storytimes may require advance registration.
  • Children must be of age by the first meeting and week day programs are limited to Quincy residents.
  • Please note that no storytimes are held when the Quincy Public Schools are closed for vacation or for weather.
  • All children's programs are also included in the library's Calendar of Events (children's programs are listed in blue on the Calendar).
  • Each child may only be registered for one storytime series per session.
  • All of our storytime programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Thomas Crane Public Library.
