Join us in welcoming the Year of the Snake with vibrant and festive lion dance performances! While Lunar New Year falls on January 29th this year, the Thomas Crane Public Library invites the community to celebrate with us next weekend for an exciting cultural experience.
On Saturday, February 1, students from Yee’s Southern Lions, a Hung Gar Kung Fu & Lion Dance Academy based here in Quincy, will perform traditional lion dances at two library locations:
- North Quincy Library: 10:30 – 10:45 AM
- 381 Hancock St., Quincy, MA
- Main Library: 11:30 – 11:45 AM
- 40 Washington St., Quincy, MA
Following the performances, stick around to enjoy a special Lunar New Year kids’ craft activity and keep the festive spirit going!
