Solar Eclipse Livestream Viewing (Indoors)
Monday, April 8 from 2 – 4 PM
Community Meeting Room, Main Library, 40 Washington St.

Join us on the library lawn to watch the total solar eclipse! On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk.

Everyone is welcome to gather together on the lawn for this historic event. This will be an outdoor viewing where eclipse glasses are required! We will have some eclipse glasses available on a first come, first serve basis. There will also be an live stream viewing inside the Community Meeting Room.

Eclipse viewing glasses will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
