The Cranium Makerspace
The Cranium makerspace is a creative and collaborative space for learning, exploring, and making. The makerspace is open to all ages, and has a variety of maker equipment including sewing machines, Cricuts, 3D printers, and a laser cutter.
Explore upcoming events and classes at the Cranium below, or visit us during Open Hours on Wednesdays from 5-7.
OPEN HOURS ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13th HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.
Please note:
Staff cannot provide detailed, one-on-one instruction during Open Hours.
The Cranium has a max capacity of 12 during Open Hours, and on some occasions we do have to turn people away when that capacity is reached. Reserving equipment in advance is advised. Reserved equipment will not be held more than 15 minutes past the time reserved, and may be given to the next applicant after that time.
Please note that due to demand, reservations for the Robo E3 3D printers and the Glowforge Laser Cutter are limited to 1 per month.
Certain equipment requires users to have a signed Makerspace Safety Waiver on file. Users should also take the time to review our Makerspace Policy.
Watching instructional videos and/or reviewing printed instructions is required prior to using certain equipment.
