Join us for our FIRST intergenerational Reading Challenge! All ages are welcome, simply track the minutes you read every day during the Olympic Games & see which age group takes home the gold: Adults, Teens, or Children!

Reading Olympics Opening Ceremony

Children, teens and adults are invited to stop by the Main Library’s Community Meeting Room anytime from 2 – 4 PM on Saturday, July 27 to sign up for the Reading Olympics Challenge, learn about the Olympics, pick up a mini bingo card, and take home activities, as well as related books.

Reading Olympics Closing Ceremony

Join us from 2 – 4 PM on Saturday, August 10 on the Olmsted Lawn for the Reading Olympics closing ceremony, where we will announce the winners and play games on the Olmsted lawn. This program will take place rain or shine, in case of inclement weather we will move indoors to the Community Meeting Room!
