Join us for this special Walk & Talk event on Thursday, October 26th from 2 – 3:30 PM!
Instead of a morning walk, participants will walk to the Old House at Peace field – a historic property in Quincy, the home of U.S. President John Adams and First Lady Abigail Adams. We will enjoy a FREE tour of the house and the library. People will then have time to walk around and look at the gardens.
Meet outside the Library’s Washington Street entrance promptly at 2 PM! We’ll walk to the Old House at Peace field together.
Audience:
- Adults interested in practicing their English conversation skills and learning about Quincy
- Adults who are able to walk a distance of 1.5 miles
- Children are welcome but must be supervised by a parent or caretaker. Unfortunately strollers are not allowed in the Old House at Peace field
For more information, contact Molly Makrogianis at 617-376-3295 or by email at quenglishtalk@ocln.org
English Walk & Talk will continue as regularly scheduled on Thursdays, October 5, 12, and 19 from 10 – 11:30 AM.
