The Cranium Makerspace
A makerspace is a collaborative work space for making, learning, exploring and sharing where people gather to get creative with DIY projects. The Cranium Makerspace will serve as a communal creative space open to all ages to learn and use a variety of maker equipment such as Glowforge Laser Cutters, Toybox 3D printers, Robo E3 3D printers, Vaquform machines, Cricut machines, sewing machines, metal stamping tools, button makers, Sublimation printers, craft supplies, and more!
Introducing “The Cranium” Makerspace
Join us for the NEW Makerspace ribbon-cutting on May 23 from 3 – 4 PM at the Main Library! The Makerspace in the Library will serve as a communal creative space open to kids, teens, and adults to learn and use a variety of maker equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, Cricut machines, sewing machines and more for both in-library use and even to check out and bring home!
The Reclaiming Folk: Celebrating People of Color in Folk Music
Join us on Wednesday, April 10 for an evening of folk music, history, and insight that celebrates the legacy and contributions of People of Color in folk music. This will be an hour long concert with a 30 minute Q&A afterwards.
Celebrate the Solar Eclipse at the Library
Join us on Monday, April 8 from 2 – 4 PM on the Library lawn and indoors to safely view the Solar Eclipse! Eclipse glasses will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Later, join us for a special Eclipse themed movie night!
