QUINCY — The staff of the Thomas Crane Public Library are proud to host Author Tammy Donroe Inman who will be presenting her book “New England Desserts: Classic and Creative Recipes for All Seasons.”

WHAT: 

On Wednesday, Dec. 6, the Thomas Crane Public Library will host Author Tammy Donroe Inman as she presents readings from her book “New England Desserts: Classic and Creative Recipes for All Seasons.”

During the event, Donroe Inman will discuss her favorite desserts that originated in Massachusetts and the stories behind them. 

Participants will learn new recipes, experience the pleasures of seasonal baking, and have the opportunity to take dessert samples home to enjoy.

About Tammy Donroe Inman

Donroe Inman is a trained chef, cooking instructor, award-winning author and photographer for New England Desserts.

She’s previously appeared in Cook’s Illustrated Magazine and on America’s Test Kitchen. Donroe Inman is a former editor for Boston Magazine and has written for Fine Cooking, Yankee and The Boston Globe.

Her first cookbook “Wintersweet: Seasonal Desserts to Warm the Home” was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Publisher’s Weekly.

Donroe Inman is native to the Boston area where she lives with her family and her two cats. She is currently working on her third cookbook.
