Join us on Sunday, November 6, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., for an afternoon concert in the beautiful historic Richardson Building featuring, the Rubin Brothers. In case you can’t make it in person, this performance will also be livestreamed to our YouTube channel.
A.J. and Colescott Rubin are Boston-based musicians, entertainers and vaudevillians who lift spirits and make smiles wherever they go, performing swing, blues, & popular songs of yesteryear with a lighthearted energy and danceable beat. Both student and staff at Berklee College of Music, they have performed all across the world from New Orleans to Iceland, Moscow to Barcelona, in Buenos Aires and more! They have performed and/or recorded with musical artists such as Esperanza Spalding, Patrice Rushen, Catherine Russell, Charmaine Neville and John Legend. In 2021, they were given the Boston Opportunity Fund Award by the City of Boston to support their artistic careers. Their Spring 2022 debut recording was produced in NYC on all pre-1930s recording equipment. When they aren’t touring, the Rubin Brothers can be seen performing for sold-out swing dances at Harvard, and at shindigs, hootenannies, jamborees and soirées across New England.
