QUINCY — The staff of the Thomas Crane Public Library are proud to present When the Tiger Smoked a Pipe: The Art of Korea with expert Ginny Meyer, next month.

WHAT: 

Community members are invited to join Thomas Crane Public Library staff to learn about the arts of Asia from experts at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.

Throughout the Dec. 10 event, participants will learn about Korean stories from long ago and explore the fascinating art Koreans have produced for thousands of years. Today, Korea is one of the leaders in contemporary art production. They have created, adapted and refined a broad spectrum of art forms. 

This event is part of an ongoing monthly series. Each month, community members are welcome to learn about a unique topic from the vast, diverse, and ever-evolving continent of Asia.
