TCPL Genealogy Club

The Thomas Crane Public Library is excited to introduce our very first Genealogy Club which will meet on most 2nd Thursdays of each month from 6 – 7 PM in our historic Richardson Building at the Main Library. Join us for the first meeting of TCPL’s Genealogy Club! This introductory session will be a blend of Research Help and Work & Share. Bring your genealogical questions, brick walls, and curiosities. Explore the databases available at the Library for genealogical research and share your stories!

For the first meeting, bring a laptop (if you have one!) and be prepared to share a fun genealogical story or challenge from your research with like-minded individuals (if you are comfortable). Access our local history materials and learn more resources with an on-hand archivist and research librarian. Ask your questions! Let’s learn and explore together!

Additionally, the Genealogy Club will host various workshops and guest speaker programs in our “Genealogy Club Presents!” series. This series is open to all and is catered towards genealogical research for all levels from beginner to advanced.
