QUINCY — The staff of the Thomas Crane Public Library are proud to present two performances of the Lunar New Year Lion Dances, led by students from Yee’s Southern Lions, a Hung Gar Kung Fu & Lion Dance Academy in Quincy.

The event will feature two lion dance performances to welcome in the Year of the Dragon.

The first performance will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 11 – 11:15 a.m. at the North Quincy Library, 381 Hancock St.

The second performance will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10 from 11:30 – 11:45 a.m. at the Main Library, 40 Washington St.

Community members of all ages are welcome to attend the performances. A Lunar New Year crafting session for children and their families will follow both performances in the Children’s Room of both libraries. Crafting materials will be provided

Both events are free to attend and no registration is required.
