QUINCY — The staff of the Thomas Crane Public Library are proud to present Concerts at the Crane with the traditional Irish band, Golden Lane.

WHEN:

Sunday, Feb. 4, from 3-4 p.m.

WHERE:

Richardson Building, Main Library, 40 Washington St.

WHAT:

Join members of the Thomas Crane Library for a Sunday afternoon concert featuring Golden Lane.

Golden Lane is a group of musicians from the Southeastern New England area who specialize in performing the lively dance music of Ireland such as jigs and reels in a traditional style. Golden Lane performs songs in both English and Gaelic.

The group’s family-friendly performances encourage audience interaction through questions about music and instruments, dancing, clapping and foot-tapping.

This event is free to attend and no registration is required.

Doors open 15 minutes before the performance and seating capacity is limited. Overflow parking is available in front of the Coddington Building, across the street from the library on Coddington Street.

The event will also be live-streamed on YouTube, as well as recorded and aired at a later date on QATV.

This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Thomas Crane Library.
