QUINCY — The staff of the Thomas Crane Public Library are proud to present a Narcan Training event with Manet Community Health Center later this month. 

WHEN: 

Thursday, Jan. 18 from 2-3 p.m. 

WHERE: 

Community Meeting Room, Main Library, 40 Washington St. 

WHAT: 

Join members of the Thomas Crane Public Library for a Narcan Training event led by experts from Manet Community Health Center. This is an opportunity to learn life-saving skills, which you can bolster your resume with for those interested in health/medical, public and community health careers!

During the event, Manet Community Health Center experts will present Overdose Prevention training, which will concentrate on how to identify an Opioid overdose, how and when to use Narcan to reverse an overdose, and the next steps to take once Narcan has been administered. 

Community members are encouraged to attend and ask questions. Following the training, Narcan will be available to those who are interested. 

This event is free and no registration is required.
