Oscars Trivia Night!
Wednesday, March 6 from 7-8 p.m.

Join the Thomas Crane Public Library for an evening of Oscars-themed trivia. Participants can work either individually or with a group to compete against others. No registration is required.

Wellness Book Club: Braving the Wilderness
Tuesday, March 12, from 7-8 p.m. 
Classroom at the Main Library, 40 Washington St.

Community members are invited to join the limited-time book club for its final meeting. For March, members will read and discuss “Braving the Wilderness: The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone” by Brene Brown. The limited-time book club is specially curated to embrace the winter season and promote well-being. No registration is required.

Investing & Stock Market 101
Thursday, March 14, from 7-8 p.m. 
Community Meeting Room at the Main Library, 40 Washington St.

The staff of Thomas Crane Public Library invites community members to attend an introductory workshop on online investing and the stock market led by financial analyst David Khalif. 

Khalif has a degree in finance and business analytics from the University of Kansas, and his work experience includes working for Microsoft, as well as a start-up he created and a variety of small businesses. Khalif is passionate about giving back to his community and understands the importance that financial planning can have on people’s lives. No registration is required.

Narcan Training with Manet Community Health Center
Friday, March 15, from 11 a.m. to noon
Community Meeting Room at the Main Library, 40 Washington St.

Manet will be offering an Overdose Prevention training, concentrating on how to identify an opioid overdose, how and when to use Narcan to reverse an overdose, and steps to take once Narcan has been administered. Narcan will also be supplied. No registration is required.

Boston Marathon Traditions & Lore Book Talk
Wednesday, March 20, from 7-8 p.m. 
Community Meeting Room at the Main Library, 40 Washington St.

Join members of the Thomas Crane Public Library for an evening with bestselling author Paul Clerici as he shares stories about the iconic Boston Marathon. He has written extensively about the race in his books “Boston Marathon History by the Mile,” “Images of Modern America: The Boston Marathon,” and the newly released “Boston Marathon Traditions and Lore.”

He will share stories of long-standing marathon traditions supplemented by a multimedia presentation of images from his books, including some from rare collections and some that have never been seen. Books will be available to purchase and can be signed by Clerici. No registration is required.

Craft & Cocoa for Adults @ Wollaston Library
Wednesday, March 27, from 6-8 p.m. 
Wollaston Library, 41 Beale St.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own craft supplies and a project to work on while they enjoy hot cocoa and the company of other attendees. Cocoa and basic supplies such as scissors, pencils and paper towels will be provided. No registration is required. 

A Conversation on MBTA Communities
Wednesday, March 27, from 7-8 p.m.
Community Meeting Room at the Main Library, 40 Washington St.

Join Commonwealth Beacon for a conversation with stakeholders and policymakers on how the new MBTA Communities law will affect the state’s housing crisis, the discussions cities and towns are having on how to proceed, and what the future holds for the law. No registration is required.
