Since 2009, the Boston Bruins have partnered with the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) to encourage reading during the summer months. Since then, over four million people have participated in summer programs. Additionally, Bruins players have worked with libraries to develop the Bruins Favorites reading list that includes favorite books from Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, Jeremy Swayman and more. As part of “When You Read, You Score” the Boston Bruins awards special prizes to libraries participating in the statewide summer library program. This summer, the Thomas Crane Public Library was the recipient of a puck autographed by Brad Marchand!

The Children’s Room will be raffling off the autographed puck from Brad Marchand all throughout September. Stop by any Quincy library location to enter the raffle! This raffle is for children ages 2 – 12 years only. The winner will be notified on October 2nd.
